Problem:
Recently, we were needing to do some word-for-word translation in my ESL class.
I wanted my students to use a particular website because it is the site that I am most familiar with.
I realized, just because it's the website I know and use, doesn't necessarily mean it is the best, or the only one to use!
Solution:
It's time for me to expand my translation-tool knowledge!
I want YOU to help!
What online translation tools do you regularly use? What is easiest? fastest? most accurate?
Can you please:
1. Start your post by introducing yourself with your full name.
2. Post a link to the online translation tools you like to use--so the rest of us can try it out!
3. Tell us why you like to use that particular site. What are the strengths and weaknesses of this website?
4. What activities do you normally use that site for?
ie: English to native language translations, native language to English translations, translating a word at a time, a phrase, or entire section of writing, etc.
